Tournament Manager

Quo’s Tournament Manager allows you to create and manage tournaments for your esports community with ease.

Commands

/tourney create

Creates a new tournament in your server.

Options:

• name: Name of the tournament
• registration_channel: Channel where teams will register
• slotlist_channel: Channel where slot lists will be posted
• role: Role to ping for announcements
• slots: Number of slots available
• open_time: Time when registration opens
• ping_role: Whether to ping the role when registration opens

/tourney config

Configure an existing tournament.

Options:

• tournament: Select the tournament to configure
• setting: Choose the setting to modify
• value: New value for the setting

/tourney open

Manually open registration for a tournament.

Options:

• tournament: Select the tournament to open

/tourney close

Manually close registration for a tournament.

Options:

• tournament: Select the tournament to close

/tourney slotlist

Generate and post the slot list for a tournament.

Options:

• tournament: Select the tournament

/tourney export

Export tournament data to CSV format.

Options:

• tournament: Select the tournament

Registration Process

1. Teams register by sending a message in the registration channel when registration opens
2. The message must include mentions of all team members
3. Teams are assigned slots on a first-come, first-served basis
4. Once all slots are filled, additional teams are placed on a waitlist

Button Interactions

The tournament manager includes several button interactions:

• Open Registration: Opens registration for teams
• Close Registration: Closes registration
• Create Slotlist: Generates and posts the slot list
• Export Data: Exports tournament data to CSV
• Delete Tournament: Deletes the tournament configuration
• Edit Tournament: Opens the tournament configuration menu

Tips for Effective Tournament Management

1. Set up registration well in advance of the tournament date
2. Use the export feature to keep track of registered teams
3. Combine with the IDP sharing feature for secure room ID and password distribution
4. Use the slot manager for advanced slot management
